Making Our Drinking Water Safe
The US EPA has lowered the maximum contaminant level for Arsenic from 50 ppb to 10 ppb protecting the public health from possible toxicological effects including some forms of cancer. One of the most promising technologies to remove Arsenic from drinking water is called granular ferric hydroxide, or GFH. Watch the video to see how the city of Chandler, AZ has made their drinking water safer.
