About Delaying Day Zero

In early 2018, Cape Town announced Day Zero, a date when its reservoirs would run so dry that it would cut off municipal water to its residents. While that date has been delayed, water scarcity is still a global issue, and conservation, desalination, and water reuse efforts are critical to staving off future Day Zeros.

The Water Group of Scranton Gillette Communications is comprised of Water & Wastes Digest, Industrial Water & Wastes Digest, Storm Water Solutions, and Water Quality Products. The business-to-business communications company includes 14 brands across five industries, including other Azbee Award-winners, such as Professional Builder, which earned 2019 Magazine of the Year and Roads & Bridges, which earned a National Gold.
