Highlighting 2014 Top Projects Winners

Dec. 19, 2014

Water & Wastes Digest's Top Projects Award Program is designed to recognize noteworthy projects and accomplishments. For a sixth consecutive year, this program demonstrates that despite stringent regulations, aging infrastructure and tightening budgets plaguing municipalities today, innovation and hard work continue to propel the industry forward. Water leaders were encouraged to submit entries highlighting their finest work that has been under design or construction over the past 18 months.

Nominated projects differed in size from 4 to 18 million gal per day and priced from $295,000 up to $841 million. Winners were selected based on the variety of obstacles faced and goals achieved.

This year, W&WD's editorial team presented the 2014 Top Projects awards at a Sept. 30, ceremony held during WEFTEC.14 in New Orleans. Additionally, each winning project has been highlighted in W&WD's December issue, and a list of all the winners and detailed description of each project is featured on W&WD's website.

Thanks to all project leaders who took the time to submit entries and photos for our program. The 2015 program will open for nominations on Jan. 15. We look forward to recognizing our industry’s hard work in 2015.
