Cloth Media Filters
AquaDisk and AquaDiamond cloth media filters have been approved by the State of California - Department of Health Services as acceptable filtration technologies for Title 22 reuse applications. Extensive evaluations conducted by researchers at the University of California – Davis tested the filters for their ability to meet turbidity requirements outlined in Title 22, under various hydraulic and solids loadings. Effluent turbidity values were consistently below 2 NTU without chemical addition.

Cloth Media Filter
The AquaDisk filter features OptiFiber pile cloth media. Its vertically oriented disks are fully submerged for increased filtration area, and provide continuous filtration during backwashing. Backwash volume is about 60% less than conventional filters. The filter tolerates extreme variations in loads and maintains high TSS, NTU and Phosphorus removal for reuse quality effluent. It also offers minimal operator attention and maintenance, a small footprint and lowest lifecycle cost.
