Envirosight partners with Jet Vac Equipment; AMTA announces election

Envirosight Partners with Jet Vac Equipment

Envirosight has partnered with Jet Vac Equipment to provide more extensive sales and service coverage across New Jersey and Delaware. Jet Vac will work in conjunction with Envirosight New Jersey direct sales manager Bruce Kosensky to maintain continuity with existing accounts and develop new ones.

“We’ve always believed regional sales and service partners are better able to connect with new opportunities and support existing customers’ training and service needs,” said Mike Vislay, Envirosight director of sales. “New Jersey is our backyard, and we’ve been able to serve it directly for many years, thanks entirely to Bruce’s talents. Even so, we’ve always believed the sales partner model is essential for long-term growth and support, and Jet Vac is a natural fit. Bruce’s enthusiasm to work with the Jet Vac team made it a no-brainer.”

AMTA Announces Election

The American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) America’s Authority in Membrane Technology, is pleased to announce the election of ten members to the Board of Directors. The newly elected Board Member will be seated on the Board on Mar. 1, 2019 and serve for two years.

AMTA’s mission is to promote, advocate and advance the understanding and application of membrane technology to create safe, affordable and reliable water supplies, and to treat municipal, industrial, agricultural and waste waters for beneficial use. To fulfill that mission the Board of Directors has three Divisions to best represent the membership.

International Desalination Association Co-organizes with MASDAR and REED Exhibitions

The International Desalination Association (IDA) and MASDAR, along with REED Exhibitions, have come together and co-organized the WFES Water Forum and Tech for Good Forum at WFES 2019. Held on Jan. 14–16, these forums will focus on solutions to the growing problem of global water scarcity, presenting the latest approaches to water supply, demand, security, and technology.

“IDA is proud to partner once again with MASDAR and Reed Exhibitions in support of the WFES by taking a prominent role in shaping these forums to address how the latest thinking and technology can optimize resource efficiency, sustainability, and security in arid regions,” said Shannon McCarthy, IDA Secretary General. “The program is rich with stakeholder participation from the public and private sector, as well as UN agencies and international non-profit organizations.”

Tsurumi Pump partners with SmartEquip

Tsurumi Pump has announced its partnership with SmartEquip.

IAPMO Group Launches Newly Designed Website

The IAPMO Group have launched a newly designed website that features quick and easy access to each of the organization's core competencies, such as product testing and certification, codes and standards development, training and personnel certification, membership, and management system registration. The new website is located at the same familiar address, http://www.iapmo.org.

The content has been reorganized and offers a far cleaner design, resulting in a website that is easier to navigate and search. Technological improvements provide for faster performance and increased accessibility around the world.

Seeq Announces Availability of R21

New Leadership Among MWRD Board

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) Board of Commissioners has elected new leadership officers among its nine-member governing body.

Commissioner Kari K. Steele was nominated by outgoing President Mariyana Spyropoulos and elected president by unanimous decision, culminating a meteoric rise at the MWRD that began as a laborer, water sampler and lab technician to eventually the top of the MWRD board room.

Sustainable Water Project Will Save Gallons of Water Every Year

A new sustainable water project at the Moscone Center will save as much as 15 million gal of water annually, highlighting the City’s ongoing efforts to conserve and reuse water across San Francisco.

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and San Francisco Public Works are partnering on implementation of the water reuse system at the popular venue, which hosted a grand opening event last week to celebrate its recent expansion.

MFG Chemical Receives Award

MFG Chemical received an Award for Safety Performance Improvement from Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates at the trade association’s 96th Annual Dinner, held Dec. 10 at the Crowne Plaza in NYC.

“MFG has been working hard to make plant safety the core value of the company, a value which is shared by all of our employees,” said CEO Keith Arnold on receiving the award. “We are happy to receive this industry recognition for our continuous improvements in plant safety, and even more pleased that we have achieved and are maintaining a safe work environment, with a strong EHS&S program.“
