Real Time Remote Monitoring System for Pump Stations

Oct. 18, 2019

One system monitors up to 12 different status conditions

The Sentinel Pro cloud-based system from Sensaphone provides 24/7 remote monitoring of equipment and environmental conditions in water and wastewater applications. It monitors, delivers alarms, and data-logs input and output points from new or existing programmable logic controllers. This system interacts with all sensors within a facility to remotely provide real time data via any internet connected device.

One Sentinel Pro unit can monitor up to 64 Modbus registers and 12 different digital or analog status conditions, including pump status, tank level, flow rate, pressure, temperature, humidity, water leaks and power failure.

When the Sentinel Pro system detects a sensor reading outside the preset limits, it sends an alert via phone, email or text to designated personnel. Users can view data values in real time via www.sensaphone.net, or the Sensaphone iPhone or Android app. All sensor readings are saved in the cloud, which protects against data loss and provides unlimited information storage.

The standard Sentinel Pro system is Ethernet-based, but it also is available with a cellular option for locations that do not have internet access. Both options provide a rechargeable built-in battery backup so that the device can keep monitoring during a power outage.
