Founded in 1972, Enviro-Care Company of Gurnee Illinois (previously located in Rockford Illinois) is a headworks company supplying screening and solids/grit management equipment to the water and wastewater market. Enviro-Care was purchased by the WAMGROUP® of Modena Italy in February of 2015 and is now the engineering and sales subsidiary in North America for the full line of SAVI and SPECO products including the Beast, Flo-Drum screens, Combined Pre-Treatment Plants, Vertical Screw Screens, washer compactors, grit washers, solids conveyors and much more. In March of 2015, Enviro-Care Company became the exclusive sales licensee of FSM Frankenberger GmbH & Co., KG of Pohlheim Germany. With this license came the FSM Filterscreen, Center Flow screen, MultiRake screen, heavy-duty washer compactors and specialty screens for water intake. Enviro-Care's parent company, the WAMGROUP® headquartered in Modena Italy, is an Italian multi-national company that first entered the conveying market in 1969. WAM quickly expanded into all facets of bulk solids handling equipment and today is the recognized leader in this important industrial application with thousands of installations worldwide.
