Sept. 15, 2022
In California, two watersheds in Los Angeles are primed for new stormwater permitting regulations that will go into effect in December. The public comment period ends in October, and the changes proposed would impact not only industrial users, but also impacts institutions, such as hospitals.
David Renfrew, vice president of water resources at NV5 in San Diego California, explains the purpose and history of this permitting structure, some of the critical pieces to keep in mind, and how this change in California could impact other regulatory structures around the country.
