CA-NV AWWA 2021 Operator Symposium

March 23, 2021 - March 25, 2021

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, California

Due to COVID-19 restrictions the California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association (CA-NV AWWA) will host a virtual Operator Symposium on Mar. 23 and 24, 2021 for skilled distribution operators, treatment operators, engineers and field professionals from the world of drinking water safety. For the first time in the history of the organization, the widely popular Operator Challenge events will be on pause.  The two-day symposium will include networking, an operator reception, an awards reception, and a full slate of technical programs.

Section Chair and CA-NV AWWA Board Member, Joy Eldredge, is proud of the organization’s members, their dedicated commitment to our industry, and how these events promote “learning together to ensure we continue to provide essential service to the public.  While other industries slow down or even stop, we must continue to provide clean, safe water to our communities here in Nevada and California.”

CA-NV AWWA Executive Director Sue Mosburg offered, “this event was created to give our core field operators an opportunity to learn and train to enhance current skill sets. It is so important to provide continuing education toward their jobs while building their professional knowledge.”
