Hobas Pipe USA has announced its inclusion on the Bureau de normalization de Québec’s (BNQ) List of Certified Products, Processes and Services. The BNQ is a member organization of the National Standards System of Canada. It operates in the fields of standards development; the product, process, service and personnel certification; and the certification of quality and environmental management systems. The BNQ acts as a partner to business, industry and public and regulatory bodies for the purpose of improving the quality of products, processes and services, as well as their acceptance in all markets.

Hobas Pipe USA manufactures centrifugally cast fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar (CCFRPM) pipe. Applications include storm and sanitary sewers, potable water, force mains, outfalls, industrial effluents and other corrosive environments. Their inclusion on the BNQ’s List of Certified Products, Processes and Services verifies the safety of products and materials in contact with drinking water.

CCFRPM potable water pipes and joint gaskets also comply with NSF standard 61 for drinking water system components. NSF Intl. is a global independent organization that writes standards, and tests and certifies products for the food, water and consumer goods industries to minimize adverse health effects and protect the environment.

Hobas Pipe USA is also certified by the International Organization for Standardization to ISO 14001 and 9001.
