Atlantic Technologies announces partnership; Stantec designs Wards Island Wastewater treatment plant upgrades

Atlantis Technologies Announces Partnership

Atlantis Technologies announced a distribution and manufacturing partnership with Brazilian water tank and system manufacturer Fortlev. Fortlev is a tank builder with eight factories across Brazil and more than 100,000 customers. 

Fortlev produces PVC pipe, fittings, valves, filters, custom bolt-together tanks and engineering. Fortlev will have exclusive rights to distribute Atlantis Technologies’ RDI desalination systems in South America for all applications except process cooling. Included in the agreement are licensing rights to build systems RDI systems in Brazil.

Stantec Selected for Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades

Stantec has been selected by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection to deliver upgrades to the Wards Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in New York City. The firm will provide design services during construction through project closeout. 

The Wards Island WWTP has a design capacity of 275 million gal per day, servicing over 1 million users. With a drainage area of more than 12,000 acres, the plant covers the western section of the Bronx and Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

TrendMiner Partners With Process Automation Solutions

TrendMiner signed a partnership agreement with Process Automation Solutions (PA Solutions). PA Solutions will expand the service offering for TrendMiner’s advanced analytics capabilities to the process industry in North-West Europe.

In collaboration with TrendMiner’s Customer Success team, PA Solutions accelerates the digital transformation journey of process manufacturing companies to give them a sustainable competitive advantage.

Alan Plummer Associates Ushers Rebrands to Plummer

Alan Plummer Associates Inc. rebranded by shortening its name to Plummer and updating its brand identity to support its national growth strategy.

The brand update reaffirms our commitment to these principles through continued use of Mr. Plummer’s name and also signals a new era of growth,” said Chris Young, PE, CEO of Plummer.

Landia Supplies Mixers for Bellozanne Sewage Treatment Works

Landia won an order from Doosan Enpure to supply and install a Jet Mixing system for the new Bellozanne Sewage Treatment Works on the island of Jersey.

Serving a new tank import facility’s buffer tank as part of a £50M-plus upgrade, Landia’s Jet Mix, which includes an 11 kW, 1,500 rpm chopper pump and twin mixing nozzles, will blend suspended solids and grit from septic tank loads that previously went straight to the inlet works of the old facility.
