The new zinc reduction method is a sensitive, ampoule-based, cadmium-free method of measuring nitrate in water. It improves safety and reduces hazardous waste concerns. There is minimal potential for chemical exposure. This field-portable kit, which can even be used with seawater, contains everything needed for performing 30 tests.
