The Aqua MegaDisk cloth media filter utilizes OptiFiber pile cloth media. Each disk is approximately 10 ft in diameter and consists of eight segments. The filter can have up to 24 disks and is capable of treating 24 mgd average daily flow in a single unit. The filter also features a 15-hp backwash pump and 5-hp drive motor. Ideal applications include municipal or industrial reuse or recycling, phosphorus removal, storm water, deep bed filter retrofits, or new plant construction.
