The FN5060HV dv/dt filter protects AC motors up to 690/600VAC from the effects of peak voltages and inrush amps. The patented technology does not require capacitors or resistors. It reduces high output dv/dt—by a factor of 8 to 12—from IGBT motor drives and eliminates over-voltages caused by line reflections on motor cables, per IEC 60034-17/25. The filter is suitable for loads up to 690VAC and 30 to 1200A, as well as for motors up to 60 Hz. Used in industrial, commercial, and specialty applications, the filter is approved by UL, CE, CSA, and ENEC, and compliant to RoHS.
