With a population of 2.8 million, Bursa is the fourth biggest city in Turkey and needs roughly 700,000 cubic meters of fresh water every day. With the help of Festo, one local municipal water company recently modernized its water treatment plants—resulting in 28 automated filter basins that can treat up to 500,000 cubic meters of water every day.
