Richardson Named President-elect of AWWA

Andy Richardson, chair of AWWA’s Strategic Planning Committee, AWWA vice-president, and the AWWA’s Arizona Section director, will be formally announced as the association’s next president-elect at their annual conference Orlando, June 13–17. Richardson will assume the presidency in June 2005.

In seeking the position of president, Richardson emphasized teamwork and momentum to ensure AWWA’s position as the “unquestioned resource of information” on water matters, according to a press release from AWWA. Richardson also emphasized AWWA’s programs for education and development of all water professionals, and the continue strength of AWWA sections.

A principal of Greeley & Hansen, Richardson also is an active member of WWD’s Editorial Advisory Board.
