Miami played host to this year’s American Water Summit, which was held at the Hilton Miami Downtown Dec. 6 and 7, with a pre-conference workshop kicking off the event on Dec. 5. This year’s gathering was designed to encourage collaboration between industry leaders in order to develop solutions to the many issues facing the water treatment and infrastructure industries in the U.S. The conference featured numerous opportunities for executives to interact, both in roundtable and one-on-one settings, and the first day concluded with a gala dinner. Attendees were even offered a chance to take an airboat tour of the Everglades after lunch on Dec. 7 in association with the Everglades Foundation.

Some conference attendees took to Twitter to inform their followers about what was going on at the event.
