Public Health and Water Conference & Wastewater Disease Surveillance Summit
Location: Duke Energy Convention Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
Join water resource and public health professionals, public health practitioners, and policymakers as they share ideas on how to address some of the most pressing health issues of our time.
This four-day event will kick off with the Wastewater Disease Surveillance Summit, the foundational event for the National Wastewater Surveillance System, which will focus on how to make wastewater surveillance data actionable. The Public Health and Water Conference will help develop a common language, identify overlapping issues, share evidence, and explore solutions related to topics such as emerging pathogens, PFAS and other constituents of concern, occupational health, communication and public education, public engagement, health equity and environmental justice, and the connections between public health and climate change.
In addition to the 16 technical sessions, this year we are pleased to be the Wastewater Disease Surveillance Summit and 1 pre-conference workshop.
