"Our country's 54,000 drinking water systems and 16,000 waste water systems face staggering infrastructure funding needs of nearly $1 trillion over the next 20 years," Said Rich Gottwald, executive director of PPI. "These systems also face an unprecedented funding gap of $23 billion a year between current investments in infrastructure and the investments that will be necessary over the next 20 years to replace aginf or failing pipes and keep our water clean. PPI is committed to working with W.I.N. to help find the funding for this gap."
