Company to Develop Control Monitoring Solution for Oil/Gas/Water Plantss

Ci Technologies, Inc. has announced that it is developing a new control monitoring solution for the industrial automation market that utilizes new technology provided by Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.

"We are teaming with a leading US gas utility to define detailed specifications for a new high-performance SCADA system and we are very pleased with the competitive advantages provided by Microsoft Visual Studio .NET to both our customers and ourselves," said Frank Volckmar, Corporate Marketing Manager for Ci Technologies.

"We are also incorporating the Microsoft .NET Framework into our new Plant2Business products. Plant2Business makes it easier for manufacturers to share and leverage real-time information throughout the enterprise and supply-chain. The integration of the Microsoft .NET Framework will also lower the cost of ownership and improve system performance."

Ci Technologies was an early adopter of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and one of the initial members of the Visual Studio Integration Program (VSIP) and has been working with the technology to develop solutions for a broad range of industrial applications.
