The PVC Geomembrane Institute—Technology Program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has launched a new publication called the Technical Bulletin due out later this month. The organization is breathing new life into a former newsletter by the same name and aiming to get valuable information on PVC geomembranes into the hands of engineers and specifiers in North American.
"PGI has not sent out any technical information of this nature in years," states Marketing Director, Kelly Rohe, "but we are resurrecting the Technical Bulletin and will be publishing it electronically four times a year beginning with the July, 2002 issue."
The Bulletin will concentrate on current or past research pertaining to PVC
geomembranes specifically and will be available free of charge to any interested party. It will be distributed electronically via email on a quarterly basis beginning this month.
The July 2002 edition will introduce a new research program sponsored by the PGI - TP addressing the Long Term Durability of PVC geomembranes.
To subscribe to the PGI Technical Bulletin simply email the PGI office at [email protected] with subject line TB Subscription. The Technical Bulletin is FREE OF CHARGE. Archived copies of the Bulletin can be viewed on the PGI website at www.pvcgeomembrane.com.
