SAIC Wins $600M National Guard Bureau Contract

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) today announced a contract award from the National Guard Bureau to provide environmental engineering, scientific, and remediation support services for the Air National Guard (ANG) and Army National Guard (ARNG).

This multiple, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling value of $598 million with one base and nine option years. Under the terms of the contract, SAIC and its team members will provide the ANG and ARNG with all professional and technical services required to design solutions, conduct field investigations, and remediate environmental pollution problems at ANG and ARNG installations around the country.

This includes identifying new and innovative technologies and regulatory approaches that streamline site closure, often providing significant cost savings. SAIC also will continue to assist the National Guard achieve environmental compliance at their facilities and perform environmental and natural resource assessments that help preserve ranges and their ability to train.
