American Water Company's President Speaks on NJN Public Radio

American Water Company's President Robert J. Gallo will be a guest speaker on NJN Public Radio (89.7 FM, 88.1 FM, 89.3 FM, 90.3 FM, 89.9 FM, 88.5 FM) on October 31st at 6:30 p.m. and on November 2 at 10:30 a.m.

Joined by commentator Rich Young, Consumers-New Jersey President Sharon Schulman and the President of South Jersey Landscapers John Ferrie, Gallo and the others will discuss this year's drought.

The four will speak to the overall effect the drought has had on aquifers and reservoirs as well as the future of water supply management. Gallo points to New Jersey-American's success meeting water demand in the state's two critical areas with the building of its Delaware River Regional Water Treatment Plant in South Jersey and the public/private partnership with the New Jersey Water Supply Authority in Monmouth County. New Jersey-American's President also explains the effectiveness of the Company's long term planning in identifying and preparing to fulfill future water needs.

The regional approach to drought regulations will also be covered along with what effects drought restrictions have had on the bottom line for business.
