NASTT Student Scholarships Sponsored by Rain for Rent

John Lake, president of Rain for Rent, announced that Rain for Rent is expanding its student scholarship program to students attending four universities with North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) student chapters.

The four universities are Arizona State, Louisiana Tech, Michigan State and Pennsylvania State.

<{>Since 1989, Rain for Rent has awarded more than $220,000 in scholarships to students studying fluid dynamics and related topics. Four $1,000 scholarships have been awarded to qualified under-graduate students to help them pursue a career in fluid dynamics, pumping, and trenchless technology.

<>Ms. Lauren Webber from Penn State University, Mr. Cory D. Street from Arizona State University, Mr. Lance Garth Tyson from Louisiana Tech University, and Mr. Matthew Paul Merrill from Michigan State University were awarded the scholarships at the No-Dig/NASTT trade show in April 2005.

These students have completed their sophomore year of college and are currently enrolled in their junior year. They are in good standing with the NASTT student chapter and the university.
