WQA To Conduct Seminar at IBWA 47th Annual Convention and Trade Show

As a result of the memorandum of understanding entered into by the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) and the Water Quality Association (WQA) in January 2005, IBWA is pleased to announce that Joseph F. Harrison, P.E., CWS-V, technical director for WQA, will conduct a seminar during IBWA’s 47th Annual Convention and Trade Show in Orlando, Fla.

Harrison’s seminar, “Point-of-Use and Point-of-Entry Drinking Water Treatment”, will focus on the following major areas:

- What are POU and POE Products

- The NSF/ANSI Standards for Drinking Water treatment Unit (POU/POE) Products

- Water Quality Concerns

- POU/POE Treatment Technologies

- Reverse Osmosis

-Ion Exchange Water Softening

By sharing educational resources and opportunities, both members of IBWA and WQA will benefit from the knowledge of leading experts who will be speaking about the issues of importance to the drinking water industry. Members of WQA are welcome and encouraged to attend this event. Members of both IBWA and WQA will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) where applicable.

The IBWA 47th Annual Convention and Trade Show, “Quality Through Innovation,” will be held in Orlando, Florida, September 27-30, 2005 at the Orange County Convention Center and The Rosen Centre Hotel.
