Revised Square D Services Website Features New Content
Source Schneider Electric
Square D® Services for Schneider Electric has revised its website to provide more diverse content, along with a revamped structure that allows for more intuitive navigation for users. In addition to a more detailed list of service product and training offerings, updated content includes a comprehensive listing of arc-flash resources, along with information on both current and previously discontinued Square D products. The website can still be found at www.squared-services.com.
Education is an important aspect of the revised site. For example, the Arc Flash Safety section contains information from Square D and other resources about the dangers arc-flash incidents represent and the various methods of protection that are available. The Training section provides information about Square D University, the company's customer educational and training courses, while the Literature section lists Square D brochures, handouts, instruction/data bulletins and articles that can be downloaded in Adobe® Acrobat® PDF format.
"This is an upgrade based on customer need," said Troy Wurth, marketing program manager for Square D Services. "For example, arc-flash protection is an important topic right now, and we wanted to provide our visitors with a single source to help them better understand that particular issue. The new Square D Services website also features all the critical content users have come to rely on, and even includes an easy-to-find Emergency Services section."
Another key component of the revised website is the Service Options section, which includes information on maintenance testing, repair, refurbishment, upgrades, engineer services, emergency services and new installation. Case studies regarding those services also are present. The Products section contains extensive information on Square D low voltage, medium voltage and non-current products, both current and discontinued.
