NSF recently announced three promotions in the Drinking Water Treatment Program. The reorganization will streamline DWTU operations, allowing for additional focus on new services and international expansion.
Rick Andrew has been promoted from technical manager to operations manager of the DWTU program. Andrew, a seven-year NSF veteran, will manage the day-to-day operations of the DWTU certification and testing business. Reporting to General Manager Tom Bruursema, Andrew will participate in business planning and business development activities for the program, and will manage the department’s technical and business unit managers.
A 12-year NSF veteran, Dave Bentley has been promoted from DWTU business unit manager to technical manager. In this role, Bentley will be involved in selecting representative test models for certification, and will work with task groups striving to improve the standards. Bentley will also provide technical training for the department and participate in the development and revisions to DWTU certification policies.
Business Unit Manager Tara Sniezek now supervises all of the DWTU certification project managers. Sniezek, who has been with NSF for five years, will provide the necessary training , professional development and supervision of the program staff, while ensuring client satisfaction and meeting department and corporate goals.
