Astro Pak Strengthens Executive Leadership

Astro Pak Corp. announced the appointment of Robert Pozil as vice president of Sales and Marketing. “Robert … is a passionate leader who has a unique ability to mobilize teams with [his] servant leadership style. He is a gifted coach and mentor,” President Ken Verheyen stated. “I believe he is exactly what our company needs at this point.”

Pozil brings more than 15 years of experience to Astro Pak and is primed to raise the company to the next level of success. Prior to joining Astro Pak, he was the president of Aleeda Grace, Ltd. for nine years, as well as director of International Markets at Lander Co. for six years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.

“I am looking forward to working alongside Ken and his talented group,” Pozil stated. “My aim is to bring a dynamic approach to Sales and Marketing that will allow us to build upon our current growth trends … and achieve continued record-breaking sales in the upcoming years.”

Pozil succeeds Erik Frankl, who has been promoted to a newly created position, vice president of Strategic Initiatives. As such, Mr. Frankl is responsible for optimizing departmental efficiencies and generating business within new markets and services. This includes diversifying service and product lines and coordinating all merger and acquisition activities.

“I’m very excited for what this move means for Astro Pak,” Frankl stated. “It strengthens our core business initiatives with a seasoned Sales and Marketing professional while imparting the resources necessary to identify and seize opportunities to grow.”

Frankl has served Astro Pak as vice president of Sales and Marketing for two years in addition to director of Corporate Development for three years. He holds dual master’s degrees from Pepperdine University in Business Management and Psychology.
