Cadmus Wins Blanket Purchase Agreement with EPA Worth up to $30.5 Million Over Five Years

Jan. 22, 2007

The Cadmus Group, Inc., a leading provider of environmental consulting services to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), announced it has been awarded a five-year, indefinite quantity Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide marketing services and other support to EPA’s ENERGY STAR program.

Cadmus’ marketing and energy efficiency experts expect to provide a broad array of services to the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Branch of the EPA’s Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD). These will include market research and analysis, marketing strategy development and communications, partner and marketing sector support, energy tracking and benchmarking, resource and tool development and training, tracking of the effectiveness of ENERGY STAR offerings, and tracking, reporting, and evaluating key program metrics.

This support will target commercial, institutional, and industrial organizations, as well as other energy users; vendors of services and products related to the energy industry; industry and trade associations; and the financial investment sector. Cadmus has already been providing such support to the C&I Branch for a number of years.

“We are excited and pleased to receive an award under this BPA from our ENERGY STAR C&I clients,” said Vice President Ed Miller, head of Cadmus’ Arlington, Va.-based Voluntary Programs Group, which supports the ENERGY STAR program. “It provides us the opportunity to continue our work in support of state and local governments, K-12 schools, colleges, and universities that participate in ENERGY STAR. And it will give us new opportunities to expand our work under competitive task order requests that will be issued in the coming months.”

Cadmus President Ian Kline stressed the importance of this award to the company’s ongoing growth strategy. “New work for new clients is an exciting and significant part of our growth strategy, but there is no better proof of the confidence our clients have in us, and their satisfaction with our work on their behalf, than repeat business like this. This award is a testament to our solid track record of providing outstanding support to the C&I branch and the ENERGY STAR program,” he said.
