WARRENDALE, Pa., Jan. 26 -- USFilter and DMP Corporation have formed a strategic alliance to exchange industrial wastewater treatment technologies, products and services. USFilter will use DMP's treatment systems, upscale control, and diagnostic systems as part of its offerings to industrial customers in selected markets. At the same time, DMP will offer its customers microfiltration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and ion exchange systems produced by USFilter's Industrial Wastewater Systems group, with facilities in Billerica, Mass.; Warrendale, Pa.; and Santa Clara, Calif.George Ellis, vice president and general manager of USFilter's Industrial Wastewater Systems group, said the alliance will give the customers of both companies access to a broader line of treatment technologies. "Industrial clients seek single-source solutions to their wastewater problems … The product lines of our two companies are very complementary," he said.Paul Dubinsky, executive vice president of DMP, said the companies may expand the agreement in the future.
