Stuart Piken has been named vice president and northeast water and infrastructure market leader in the New York office of Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), a global infrastructure consulting, engineering and construction management organization.
Mr. Piken comes to PB after a 30-year career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He most recently served as deputy district engineer for the New York District. He was the senior civilian responsible for the execution of a $650-million annual program for infrastructure improvements at military installations, addressing the region’s water resources needs for flood control, deep-draft navigation, environmental restoration, and cleanup of hazardous, toxic and radiological sites. Previous positions with the Corps of Engineers included director of programs for the North Atlantic Division and chief of the New York Planning Division.
Mr. Piken holds a master of civil engineering degree from the Polytechnic Institute of New York and a bachelor of civil engineering from the City College of New York. He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and a licensed professional engineer in New York.
