BakerCorp, a leader in containment, pumping, filtration and shoring solutions, has opened a new filtration branch located in Chicago. The addition of the filtration product line comes in response to growing market demand for customized filtration solutions and services in the Midwest.
“Increasingly stringent environmental standards continue to stimulate a growing need for filtration throughout the Midwest. Baker’s extensive knowledge of contaminants, environmental regulations, hazardous material management and health and safety enable us to design turnkey solutions for our customers,” said Hub Manager Mark Wincent.
The BakerCorp filtration office will house a variety of filtration units such as high- and low-pressure carbon and specialty media vessels, odor control units, sand filters, duplex cartridges, bag filter housings and auxiliary equipment. Specialty media applications include activated carbon, ion exchange resins, impregnated media, organoclay, sand and gravel. The branch will offer sales and rentals of equipment, system maintenance, vessel service, onsite media changeouts and waste management services.
Product specialists will be targeting professionals primarily in the fields of industrial wastewater treatment, air pollution control, environmental remediation, construction, energy and a host of others.
"We are very excited about how this new location will increase our ability to design customized, integrated solutions for our customers in this growing market and we are proud to play an integral role in Baker’s expanding filtration business,” Wincent said.
BakerCorp has two additional branch offices in the Chicago area and over 90 locations worldwide.
