HDR has announced two leadership appointments in its Pittsburgh office. Carolyn Dimmick is the new lead of the water business group’s Pittsburgh office, and Lorraine Veltri is the water marketing manager and the water national pursuit leader for the East Region.
Both Dimmick and Veltri have 20 years of industry experience and will blend their skills and strengths to help HDR increase its presence with current and potential water and wastewater clients in the East Region.
Dimmick has more than 20 years of industrial and municipal environmental consulting experience in the Pittsburgh area. The focus of her experience has been on industrial and municipal wastewater treatment and regulatory issues. She has a master of science degree in environmental engineering and a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering, both from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, better known as Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Va.
Veltri joins HDR from Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies in Pittsburgh, where she worked for 13 years, most recently as proposal and tender department manager. During her tenure she also served for two years as an international proposal manager for large design/build/operate pursuits at the company’s headquarters in Paris. Her previous experience includes positions as a project manager. She has been involved with several of the largest potable water and wastewater projects around the world.
