Approximately 10 million gal of raw sewage spilled into Puget Sound early Tuesday due to a "switch malfunction" at West Point treatment plant in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle, reported the Seattle Times.
The spill lasted three hours. As a result, water samples were taken to be tested and a nearby beach was closed.
