Hanson Pipe & Precast recognized Don Wagner, vice president, sales of the Mid-Atlantic and D.C. metro area, for his 25 years of dedication and contributions to the company.

“I am proud to be a part of Hanson Pipe & Precast and its leadership and dedication to the concrete pipe industry, and to our infrastructure and communities,” said Wagner.

“Don is a valued contributor to our team,” said Bob Christensen, senior vice president for Hanson Building Products East Region. “His dedication to this company is evident, as he continues to provide the kind of superior insight and quality service that Hanson is known for in this industry.”

Experienced in various operations of the concrete pipe industry, Wagner began his career in 1985, serving as an accounting/tax manager for Concrete Pipe & Products Co. Inc. (CP&P), and in 1990, was named officer and controller for the company. CP&P was acquired by Hanson in 1997, and shortly after the acquisition Wagner was named administrative manager of Hanson Pipe & Precast’s Northeastern region. From 1999 to 2003, Wagner served as the Central Virginia sales manager, and from 2004 to 2008, held the position of vice president and general manager for the Southern Virginia region, which, in 2007, expanded to become the Mid-Atlantic area. Wagner began his current position as vice president, sales for the Mid-Atlantic and D.C. Metro area in 2009.
