CalDesal Seeks New Executive Director

CalDesal, a non-profit group advocating desalination in California, is seeking an individual or firm for the position of executive director. The organization is now accepting proposals for professional services for this position.

Position responsibilities include overseeing the organization’s board of directors, coordinating corporate business, overseeing advocacy efforts at the state and local levels, developing and maintaining partnerships with other organizations and coordinating conferences. Applicants must have a presence in Sacramento, Calif., and be willing to travel. They also must provide an office with the necessary equipment and insurance.

Interested firms or individuals may submit a proposal of no more than 10 pages, including a statement of qualifications, a description of the applicant’s understanding of challenges facing CalDesal over the next three years, a description of the applicant’s planned approach as executive director and at least five references.
