AWWA Annual Conference & Expo Registration Now Open

Jan. 7, 2011
Washington, D.C., event will include visits to Congress to discuss water issues

Registration is now open for the American Water Works Assn.’s (AWWA) 2011 Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE11), June 12 to 16, in Washington, D.C.

This year’s event will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, allowing the water community to explore the future of safe water, gain insight into cutting-edge research and best practices and experience the latest products and services available.

Many events are scheduled, including workshops to provide hands-on, comprehensive opportunities to more thoroughly examine topics pertinent to the water industry. Industry leaders will conduct these workshops, providing the latest information for industry professionals.

Attendees also are invited to take critical water issues directly to the U.S. Congress during ACE11 through in-person meetings with key House and Senate decision makers. AWWA is facilitating Capitol Hill visits for ACE11 attendees throughout the conference, providing a rare opportunity to experience the inner workings of Washington firsthand.

The ACE11 Exposition complements the annual conference’s professional program. Companies in all types of water related fields will exhibit, including pipes, valves, meters, hydrants, engineering services, tanks, membrane filtration systems, laboratory equipment, security and wastewater.
