Carus Corp. Acquires Sierra Chemical Co.

Officials join to provide environmental water-treatment services and products

Carus Corp. is pleased to announce its acquisition of Sierra Chemical Co., a water treatment company headquartered in Sparks, Nev. Sierra will be a stand-alone subsidiary of the corporation.

“The addition of Sierra will complement our existing core water treatment activities while advancing [the corporation’s] commitment to provide products and services that improve the environment throughout the United States and the world,” said Carus President and CEO Inga Carus.

Carus was founded in LaSalle, Ill., in 1915 and is an environmental company that produces and supplies products, equipment and services for water treatment, soil remediation and air purification. It is a member of the American Chemistry Council.
