Combined Water Utility Co. increases preventive maintenance work order scheduling by 25%

NexTraq announced that its client, Columbus Water Works, has increased driver productivity by 15% with the NexTraq Fleet Tracking platform. Additionally, the combined water utility company was able to increase preventive maintenance work order scheduling by 25%, greatly reducing fleet maintenance expenses.

Columbus Water Works evaluated several GPS fleet-tracking solutions before implementing the NexTraq platform on more than 130 fleet vehicles.

Risk management and safety issues were additional benefits. Columbus Water Works can now prove where its vehicles are at all times to reduce liability issues while also ensuring that drivers are following all traffic laws.
