The company will showcase its wastewater & storm water management technologies at the tradeshow

Hydro Intl. will showcase new technologies for wastewater and storm water treatment in two booths at WEFTEC 2013.

To support its grit removal technology, Hydro Wastewater has launched a knowledge-sharing website to promote the philosophy of Advanced Grit Management. Visitors to the booth will be able to witness how the new advancedgritmanagement.com website will provide science-based information on grit removal design which can be used by engineers, operators and owners to select a solution for their project's needs.

Exhibiting for the first time in the WEFTEC Stormwater Pavilion, Hydro’s Stormwater team is demonstrating its knowledge in vortex separation technology for removal of pollutants from storm water runoff. Visitors to the booth will learn how the company’s Downstream Defender, First Defense and Up-Flo Filter hydrodynamic vortex separators are providing cost-effective surface water treatment solutions in urban locations throughout the world where improving water quality is a priority.

Hydro’s vortex technologies including the Hydro-Brake Flow Control (known as Reg-u-Flo in North America) can be configured to provide storm water management solutions for attenuation and treatment to support rainwater recycling and reuse in applications such as irrigation, promising to help protect resources in water-stressed countries across the globe.

“Hydro’s innovative stormwater and wastewater treatment technologies are increasingly being transferred for use in locations all over the world, from Russia to Malaysia, Australia to Brazil and the Middle East,” said Hydro’s International Business Director Clive Evans. “WEFTEC provides the perfect international platform for us to demonstrate our solutions to visitors and discuss their requirements.”
