Andrew Findlay Joins Microvi

Engineer Andrew Findlay will be Microvi’s new global director of engineering, the company has announced.

Findlay was most recently a chartered principal process engineer at water engineering firm MWH, where he worked for more than nine years. He has more than 19 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, including expertise in the design of new water and wastewater treatment facilities, upgrades to existing treatment facilities and other treatment processes and systems.

“We are excited to have an expert engineer like Andy joining our growing Microvi team,” said Microvi CEO Dr. Fatemeh Shirazi. “His talent and engineering skill will serve Microvi well.”

Findlay holds engineering licenses in Massachusetts and Texas, and received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

“As I have worked with the Microvi technology over the past two years I have become convinced of its capabilities. I am excited by the opportunity to join the Microvi team to help deliver the benefits of the technology to our clients. I believe Microvi’s technology will change the way the industry thinks about biological treatment of water and wastewater,” Findlay said.
