2 min read

President Joe Biden declared Oct. 18 the 50-year anniversary of the Clean Water Act, one of the most important and vital acts in the history of U.S. water management and treatment. Assistant Administrator to the U.S. EPA Office of Water Radhika Fox talks about the anniversary of the Clean Water Act, and the value it has brought to the American public over its history.

Fox explains the current status on infrastructure funding as numerous states have completed their intended use plans for state revolving funds. She also talks about the current deliberative process for PFAS regulation for drinking water while noting wastewater PFAS regulations — particularly the biosolids element — is also being closely watched by the agency.
