Webinar Overview
How much does a sewer system cost? What are the life cycle costs of a sewer system? This webinar provides a holistic overview of life cycle cost analysis and the cost advantages provided by pressure sewer systems.
Pressure sewer systems have become a viable alternative to conventional gravity sewers. The advantages of low pressure sewer systems over new construction of gravity sewers or renewal/rehabilitation of failed gravity sewers include low construction costs, fewer community impacts (lower social costs) and lower environmental impact and disturbance.
However, when evaluating wastewater collections system alternatives, the true cost of long-term ownership has often been improperly considered. Evaluation tools, such as E/One’s Life Cycle Cost calculator, provide a planning level assessment for the evaluation of long-term life cycle costs between a low pressure sewer system and a conventional gravity sewer.
Users can adjust both cost and operational parameters based on their specific project’s needs. Capturing all operational activities and basing costs on actual or historic data ensures a more complete assessment and facilitates the selection of the wastewater collection system with the most favorable life cycle costs.
Join us June 14 at 2:00 p.m. ET for a demonstration of this valuable tool.
Company Profile
Environment One Corporation (E/One) is a diversified, high-technology company located in Niskayuna, N.Y., U.S.A. Manufacturing, engineering, administration and marketing operations are managed from Niskayuna. Environment One Corporation is owned by Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC), a worldwide manufacturer of complex metal components and products. PCC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.A)
Low-pressure, gravity-independent, contour-following sewage collection systems were pioneered by Environment One. E/One Sewer systems have proven to be an economical and effective method of sewering otherwise difficult land areas, such as flat, wet, rocky and hilly terrain.
At the heart of an E/One Sewer is the grinder pump, developed by Environment One. These units accept household sanitary waste, grind it into a fine slurry and pressurize it to permit transport through small-diameter pipes. E/One Sewer Systems serve over one million end-users daily.
E/One's Sewer Systems business is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
