Analyzer Provides Ultra-Sensitive Hydrogen Sulfide Detection

Sept. 11, 2015
Product utilizes gold film sensor technology to provide reliable data

Arizona Instrument's line of Jerome toxic gas analyzers is designed to provide accurate and reliable data in compact, rugged and easy-to-use packages. Utilizing and improving upon Jerome’s gold film sensor technology, the J605 has been upgraded from previous models, resulting in longer battery life and an enhanced user interface/experience.

The Jerome J605 is designed to detect hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S) at concentrations as low as 3 ppb with a resolution of 20 ppt. It is housed in a light, durable metal casing, and its solid-state design and 24-hour battery life mean the J605 is tough enough for any environment and always ready when you need it.

The Jerome J605 features onboard data logging for up to 20,000 measurements for detailed recordkeeping and analysis, as well as a USB interface for data transfer and SCADA interface capabilities via 4 to 20mA output.

The J605 also features a survey mode to aid in pinpointing the sources of hydrogen sulfide gas leaks. While in survey mode, the instrument samples the air continuously, allowing the user to “sweep” an area for hydrogen sulfide hotspots and enabling efficient corrective action to be taken.

Jerome’s gold film sensing technology has been validated in the laboratory and in the field for more than 35 years. The wastewater community has trusted the Jerome gold film hydrogen sulfide analyzer for decades, and its rugged, solid-state design makes it ideal for nearly any use case.
