Badger Meter, Inc. announced it has been awarded a three-year contract to supply water meters and metering systems to American Water, the nation’s largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company.
Badger Meter will supply a portfolio of residential and commercial water meters, meter reading and analytics technologies to American Water. This includes its BEACON Advanced Metering Analytics cloud-based managed system, including the EyeOnWater consumer engagement application, ORION two-way meter reading solutions including cellular endpoints, E-Series Ultrasonic meters and high resolution encoders and Recordall disc meters.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
