The Eclipse 9700 Automatic Flushing Device helps utilities keep water safe for consumers on water main dead-ends and other points on the distribution system. This lightweight device attaches to an existing fire hydrant and can be programmed to flush to raise disinfectant residuals and remove disinfectant byproducts. With a maximum 200-gal-per-minute flow rate, it can improve water quality while flushing up to 50% less water than manual flushing. The Eclipse 9700 operates on a 9-V battery. All Kupferle Automatic Flushing Devices have been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the Green Project Reserve Funding Program.
