Electromagnetic Flowmeter Requires Minimal Maintenance

Dec. 3, 2014
The flowmeter is ideal for municipal & industrial water, wastewater, treatment plants, pump stations, filtration systems & packaged plant applications

The Seametrics iMAG-Series is an economical flanged electromagnetic flowmeter. It is used in 3- to 12-in. pipe in municipal and industrial water, wastewater, treatment plants, pump stations, filtration systems and packaged plant applications.

The iMAG has no moving parts and electrodes are designed to discourage fouling. This magmeter requires no maintenance in applications where debris would impede mechanical meters. Minimal straight pipe requirements allow iMAG-Series meters to be used in piping configurations where there is little space between the meter and the elbow.

iMAG-Series are rated IP68 for applications where the meter may be underwater up to a depth of 10 ft (3 meters) for prolonged periods of time. Rate, total and pulse units are field-settable utilizing a user-friendly touch keypad, providing flexibility and efficiency to the user.
