Bioremediation Products Increase Operational Stability

April 28, 2015
Products improve water quality by quickly reducing biosolids

Probiotic Solutions is Bio Huma Netics’s line of bioremediation products that are used for wastewater treatment and soil remediation. In wastewater, our bioremediation products improve water quality; cut down on odor; break down fats, oils and grease (FOGs); reduce sludge; and control biological oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD) levels naturally without introducing harsh chemicals into the environment

Probiotic Solutions products increase operational stability. This is accomplished by increasing the production efficiency of biological wastewater treatment facilitates by reducing biosolids more quickly and improving settleability and turbidity while raising dissolved oxygen levels and overall water quality. This all translates to significant cost savings in a number of operational areas, such as aeration, sludge dredging, handling, hauling and more. Other benefits include less odor, reduced foaming and maximized use of lagoons, aeration basins, digesters, and facilities—with less downtime and greater capacity.

Using Micro Carbon Technology, Bio Energizer from Probiotic Solutions cuts costs by efficiently reducing sludge, odor, BOD/COD and FOG in wastewater treatment plants and lagoons, as well as reducing grease problems in sewer lines and lift stations. Bio Energizer saves operators thousands of dollars in operating costs. It is a formulation of organic acids, buffers, natural biological systems, nutrients and energy systems that balance the natural microbial ecosystem to increase bio-oxidation of wastewater.
