Cover Kits & Inspection Windows Available in a Variety of Sizes

Sept. 7, 2016
Products meet a number of safety standards

Allied Moulded is releasing additional sizes (10 in. by 8 in. and 16 in. by 14 in.) to its existing line of human-to-machine interface (HMI) cover kits and inspection windows (13 in. by 9 in. and 9 in. by 5½ in.), which are designed to provide protection for instruments or electronics requiring routine maintenance or monitoring.

Allied Moulded’s HMI cover kits feature a strong and rigid design, mounting securely to the outside of any enclosure option and making accessibility to electronic components easy. HMI cover kits are UL recognized and maintain a NEMA 4X seal with the use of Allied Moulded’s formed-in-place (FIP) polyurethane gasket system, and they are well suited for outdoor applications. Multiple cover-latching options are available, including hinge screw, tamper-proof screw and snap-latch models. All are available in solid opaque or polycarbonate thermoplastic clear covers.

Allied Moulded’s inspection window kits are designed to provide visibility and easy viewing access to equipment and components installed in an enclosure, while maintaining ratings up through NEMA Type 4X. The window kit features a strong and rigid design, securely mounting to the outside of most enclosure designs. The window kits allow for sufficient viewing space in any required application.

The window kit features an aesthetically pleasing design made from clear polycarbonate thermoplastic, and it includes all mounting hardware to securely fasten to an enclosure on a flat surface. Also featuring a FIP polyurethane gasket system, the mounted window protects from outside elements such as ultraviolet rays, dirt, dust and water.
