Aeration retrofit saves Missouri utility $80k annually

The operator in Farmington, Missouri, no longer needs to use a johnboat to service or maintain the city's aeration basins.
Dec. 12, 2023

Maintenance of the aeration basins for the City of Farmington required the operators to use a johnboat prior to this $500,000 project to upgrade the basins with new blowers and aeration equipment.

Even more impressive is the estimated $80,000 in energy savings annually from the capital investment, meaning the return on investment is rather quick.
